The safety of our guests and staff is always our top priority at The Royal Toby. Please read our Covid-19 Guidance below to learn more about the measures we’ve put in place to ensure a safer experience whilst you are visiting us.
We are fully supporting test and trace, and kindly ask that all guests also check in when visiting any areas of the Royal Toby.
It’s only right that we also give you peace of mind that we will look after you, should you need to cancel any reservations with us. Please read our Book with Confidence policies, in the event of your booking being affected by Covid-19.

Whilst you visit The Royal Toby, we ask that you keep 2 Metres apart at all times to adhere to the Social Distancing laws that have been put in place by the UK Government.
We have increased the levels of cleaning and disinfection of all areas of The Royal Toby Hotel, restaurants, and bars, focusing on the frequently touched areas, for example, door handles, card machines, and lift controls.
Please make use of the hand sanitisers that have been placed in our restaurants, bars, and hotel.
Our hotel bedrooms are left vacant for at least 24 hours after checkout. This is to give our housekeeping team the appropriate time to clean and disinfect each room before the next guest checks in.
All invoices will be emailed upon checking out of the hotel. This is to limit contact and to protect both our guests and staff.
Whilst staying or dining at The Royal Toby, you can pay via credit card, debit card, or via contactless for up to £45. We are not currently accepting cash payments.
We have reduced the capacity in our restaurants to give you a safer dining experience.
At this time our maximum table booking is for 6 people. Please be advised that you must be from the same household to sit on the same table.
All of our menus are available to view electronically by scanning a QR code at the table.
On checking in to the hotel or arriving at our restaurant, there will be a member of our team who will take your temperature to ensure the safety of you and other guests.

"I really can’t rave about this place enough. The sleep & dine offer is amazing value for money. A beautiful 3 course meal a nights stay and a beautiful breakfast. The food is absolutely amazing and all of the staff are lovely. We got to stay in one of the newly refurbished rooms WOW they absolutely stunning. "Temp scan and hand sanitiser first. Shown to table. Screens between every table separating customers. Melon and Prawn starters followed by 12oz steaks with new potatoes, mushrooms and vine tomatoes and peppercorn sauce.
